One of my Porch room boxes collection, this is really like an outdoor, but covered, room. Nestled in a rustic wooden storage crate, the inside has been whitewashed and marked to look like old white wooden planks. The white painted fencing sections on the front of the porch are only attached with museum putty, so that they can easily be removed.
There are numerous artisan made pieces included – unfortunately I don’t know all the artists’ names. The screen door pie cabinet on the left was custom made by Papa’s Cottage Minis, the filled hutch on the right, as well as some of the plants, were made by Shawna, and the blue shelf unit on the right wall came from New Zealand. I decorated an older adirondack chair I had with items befitting of this porch, and purchased a handmade green wicker chair with a blanket. It makes for a cozy, weather resistant spot to relax.
