Much of this Country French dining room, decorated for Spring and Easter, was made by me – much more of my own art than usual in a room box. The hutch, table and chairs, side table and wall shelf were all unfinished wood, and I painted them to look antique, somewhat worn, but with gold trim. All of the china pieces, with only a few exceptions, were painted by me. and I also sewed the pink bunny suit for the little antique Japanese porcelain doll. There are several IGMA artisan pieces, including the wreath underneath the shelf, the book arrangement on the side table, as well as a few other items. Pretty muted pastel colors create the perfect Spring scene that might have been seen during the 20th century.
