One of my Porch Series room boxes, this project evolved from a different idea that I had started. I had glued a printed outdoor scene onto the back (actually bottom) of a rustic wooden 9″ by 7″ wooden storage crate. I was not satisfied with the first scenario I tried, but did like the outdoor scene. I decided to turn it into a porch, with a descending staircase (only in the print) that you would be looking at from the attached house. It is partly a sitting area with plants and partly a storage area for gardening equipment.
There are a few artisan pieces, but many of the items are commercially made. I used a little wooden box and added a shelf and hooks for the storage closet, and also made a couple of the floral arrangemants.
