1950’s Diner and Soda Shop

Nina Fair , 2024

There is nothing more 1950’s than an iconic diner and soda shop that was frequented by bobby soxers and their dates.  From the counter stools to the vinyl covered booth seats to the high table, teenagers would enjoy a variety of menu items, including burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, pies, ice cream sundaes, milkshakes and sodas.  This room box includes many artisan sculpted foods, plus commercially manufactured furnishings.  The jukebox would be playing current tunes, and if you look out the door, you can see a parking lot with guys and their hotrods.

There are a number of unsigned artisan pieces in this shop, including many of the food items, which came from England.  There are several wall signs made by Lorraine Scuderi.
