I made this diorama for my husband one Christmas. It depicts a small workshop area within a barn or shed, and it is all housed inside an old wooden cigar box with a hinged lid. The lid does double duty in that it can be closed, but it also holds a large pulley and a stepladder that is fastened with a chain.
The drafting table and stool are signed, but I’m not sure who the artist is. Almost all the tools were made by Sir Thomas Thumb, and I made the tiny pegboard with a shelf and antiqued some of the barrels.
