Technically not a room box, this vignette features what might be one side of a primitive style kitchen. It could be from any time in the 20th century, depending on whether the furnishings were new or vintage at the time. It features IGMA artist pottery, firkins, baskets and other wooden ware, all of which are housed in an 11″ x 8″ whitewashed wooden storage box. I generally try not to glue things into my creations, and only do so when they are very tiny, or if I have difficulty getting things to stay put. Usually I fasten items in with either museum wax or putty. This way it makes it easier to change a scene if I want to.
